In spite of this, thousands of illegal speakeasies are thriving across New York, such as the exotic Cotton Club, in Harlem, which is owned by the notorius gangster, Owney Madden. Whilst the hedonistic patrons of The Cotton Club revel above, two bodies, each bearing a single gunshot wound, are discovered in the club’s basement. In the police investigation that follows, the Detective aims to uncover who is responsible for the murders of Mr Xavier Washington, a small-time Harlem bootlegger, and Agent Jesse Dixon, of New York’s federal Bureau of Prohibition.
